Teachers and staff at Art City have nominated students for our Top Eagle award! Each month, one student from each grade level will be recognized for going above and beyond during our Stand Strong assembly. They received a prize and certificate. A sign will also be put in the student's yard. Good job Eagles! These are our November recipients.

Art City's First annual Turkey Trot was held during lunch recess on Tuesday November 25, 2925. Thank you PTA and Ms Jordan for organizing and helping make this fun activity successful.

Art City Elementary third grade students have been learning about ancient Room. They held a Forum today, having an opportunity to play, build and create like the Romans did long ago.

Art City Elementary fifth grade students, in their social studies group, participated in a mock trial. Students learned about the Constitution and the branches of government. After learning how it all works they were able to put the judicial branch’s powers into action by holding a mock trial.

On Wednesday and Thursday, November 19 and 20, 2025 six of Art City's classes participated in a world wide 2025 STACK UP using Speed Stack Cups. Students did Race Track fitness; half of the class would work on three, six, and 10 stacks, while the other half ran laps around the "pit stop" area, after 30 seconds of music they would switch places. Students played everyone is it, when they were tagged they would do their choice of stacking. For the last 10 minutes of class they created anything they wanted. The tallest tower was well over six feet tall however it collapsed before getting a picture of the finished tower.

This year was our third year doing a Turkey Strut. Students who wanted to “strut” their stuff competed in their classroom. One student from each class, first through fifth grade, strutted for the school. Teachers also had a chance to be a part of the competition! Will Ferrin, from the BYU Football team, Mike Duncan from Nebo School District and Mr. Gordon from Art City Elementary were invited to judge the students. Students roared with laughter and cheers when the teachers shared their talents. Great job everyone!
